On Easter weekend of 1964, Radio Caroline went on air for the first time from the MV Fredericia in the North Sea. Now 57 years later, the station is still in the air on medium wave. For me an opportunity to congratulate them on Easter Sunday and also reward them with a detailed reception report of Radio Caroline North’s monthly special broadcast on 648 kHz. The medium wave transmitter is now located at Orford on the South East coast of the UK. It has a very good reception in my area: Radio Caroline 648 kHz.mp3. The report was confirmed after 3 hours with a nice detailed QSL card and a friendly personal letter!
